FAQs

Why sell to CK Homebuyers instead of using a Realtor?

We can close more quickly than a Realtor can, we’ll buy your house as-is, you won’t have to keep it clean and keep making payments while you show it to prospective buyers, and we can help just about anyone – there’s no house too run down or ugly.

So it really just comes down to your goal. If you want to earn the most money possible for your home, and you have the time, money and ability to list it on the market and wait for the right buyer, plus keep making payments or make any needed repairs, then you’re probably better off with a Realtor. But if your goal is to sell your home as quickly as possible, and a fast, easy sale matters most to you, then we may be a better fit with our guaranteed fast cash offer.

Do I need to make repairs before selling?

No need to make any repairs on the property. We assess the property and make our cash offer in As-is condition. Don’t worry about your home if it can’t pass a traditional home inspection, we’ve got you covered.

Are there Realtor fees or other closing costs for me?

There is no Real Estate agent involved in the transaction, and no associated closing costs on your end. The deal is as simple as making an offer, accepting the offer, and walking away with cash in your pocket.

After we agree on a price, when do I get my money?

We’ll pay you after we close on your home, so it really depends on your timeline and how quickly we can close. If you need more time to get things together and want to delay the process a bit, it’ll take longer because we’ll wait to close until you’re ready. If you need a faster sale, we can work to speed up our normal timeline and get you paid more quickly.

How do you determine an offer price?

We will then be able to assess what your property would be worth based on the current market and assumed ARV (After Repair Value). The ARV is calculated based on comparable homes that recently sold on the market in your area.

A few things we look for in comparable properties are square footage, number of Bedrooms and Bathrooms, Garage or Carport, Lot Size, Exterior improvements (fenced, pool, shed, etc.)

Will we have to show the home you in person?

In order to develop a fair cash offer, we need to do a short walk through of the property to determine the cost of any required reservations. If you are no longer local, we are happy to work with you to conduct the visit in a way that meets your needs.

My house has Tenants, can I still sell?

If you are tired of managing your property or have problem tenants, we are still able to purchase your property and take the problem off your hands. Be sure to observe all Federal, State and Local laws in regards to tenant notification.

What happens when you contact me?

We’ll ask some questions to learn more about you, your property, and your situation. We want to make sure that we’re a good fit for you, and that we’ll be able to help you out. We may also schedule a time to come out and see your property so we can do a quick walk-through inspection to get a more accurate offer number. We’ll also be able to answer any questions you might have about the process
